An Autonomous Energy Generator from Admin's blog

I floated this idea and found it has potential!

Here's the ingredients:

GravBuoy(TM)

Cheap and durable!

Aluminum!

If you use an efficient ballast system to raise the magnet container up, and gravity to drive it back down, well...

...IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE OVER-UNITY?

Buoyancy is actually created by gravity producing water pressure, so you don't need to use energy to push container all the way back up. Just enough to change the density/volume of the container as needed.

Can be installed in water-filled towers, too!

Let me know if you find anyone who can run with this.

All you have to do is install a linear generator (coils) vertically, underwater. Magnets are housed in container that wraps around coil pole.Weight makes magnets sink, generating current. Then, with a small amount of energy, the magnet container expands, causing it to float back up, making more electricity, 24/7. Or possibly a small blast of air, to empty ballast tank, will also do the trick? No fuel, wind, or sunlight needed. Energy used to change density of container is potentially 100X-1000X less than generator produces (guesstimate). At the top, the container contracts, or air in tank is swapped with water, to make it sink again.

Just add GravBuoy to modify this vertical system https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3y89ikQQiHY
